BECOME A CMRC MEMBER

As an Incorporated Association, CMRC is bound to our constitutions and our members. 

According to our constitution, CMRC was established to provide for the direct relief of poverty, sickness, suffering, disability or helplessness suffered by refugees, humanitarian entrants and migrants in Australia whose distress or suffering arouses compassion in the community. 

For a low annual cost of $20 (individuals) or $100 (organisations) you can become a member of CMRC and ensure we are able to  fulfill our mandate.

Membership Category A – Individual ($20/year)

Membership under this category is open to any person 18 years of age and over who in the opinion of the Board of Directors engages in activities of relevance to the objects of the Association.

Membership qualification

A person is qualified to be a Member if the person:
(i) if a natural person, is 18 years of age and over;
(ii) if a body corporate, engages in activities of relevance to the objects of the Association, but need not be operating exclusively to meet the needs of any identified cultural or language community
(iii) agrees to be bound by this Constitution;
(iv) has been approved for Membership by the Board (to be done after registration)..
