Settlement Engagement and Transition Support Program (SETS)

Operating under a Hubs service delivery model, the Settlement Engagement & Transition Program (SETS) is designed to respond to the needs of newly arrived migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants, who face barriers related to social inclusion, education and economic participation.

SETS assists newcomers as they transition into their new environment, become self-reliant and participate equitably in the Australian society. Newcomers who have arrived following forced migration and displacement post conflict, require bespoke support and expert advice in navigating Australian culture, laws and systems.

SETS is funded by the Department of Home Affairs and is delivered through the Western Sydney Region Settlement Consortium (led by Sydwest Multicultural Services)
